Easy and delicious dinner

Tilapia is a popular fish to cook with. There's hardly any flavor so you can flavor it with anything. Here's my favorite recipe that you can find for free on AllRecipes.com.

Broiled Parmesan tilapia

Prep time: 5 min  Cook time: 6-10 min
Serves: 8    250 calories

Ingredients:
1/2 c of Parmesan cheese
1/4 c of butter (I use less and I use kerrygold)
3 tbs mayinaise (I use the mayinaise made with olive oil)
2 tbs lemon juice
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp celery salt
Big spoon full of minced garlic
2 pounds of tilapia

Mix all ingredients together in a bow and set asside. Oil a pan and place fish into it. Place the fish into the oven on broil for 3 minutes. Pull out fish, turn over, cover with prepares mixture and place back into the oven for another 3-4 minutes.

Pull out and serve.

Side dish: basalmic Parmesan Brussel sprouts

Very easy to make and delicious too.

I found this recipe in the Trader Joe's g free cookbook

This book is full of great stuff and is available for purchase at Barnes and Noble. As this is a published recipe in a book, I can't share it. All I can tell you is that it is super tasty! Lemon pepper, garlic, Parmesan cheese and basalmic. What is not to like?!?

Healthy, tasty and easy!

Grilled cheese

love grilled cheese, but when my gluten issue kicked in I thought no more grilled cheese for me.

Until now...

I bought some Udi's g free wheat bread. I also purchased some kerrygold grass fed Irish butter. Oh my gosh. The best butter ever.

I found this butter at trader joes, walmart and Raleys.

To make yummy grilled cheese:
Step1: toast bread
Step 2: spread delicious butter on toast
Step 3: sprinkle toast with garlic salt
Step 4: cover in lots of cheese 😄
Step 5: place in oven on broil until cheese is melted
Step 6: pull out grilled cheese. Sprinkle with more garlic salt, salt and pepper.
Step 7: ENJOY

Quick and delicious.

Capitol Garage

Capitol Garage located on K street in downtown Sacramento is a must!
http://www.capitolgarage.com

This place is considered a farm to fork restaurant. That means not only is the menu always changing, but the food is purchased from local farms and are organic.

Here's my amazing lunch. It's a grass fed, non gmo, hormone free burger with a gluten free bun. The fries (OMG) are called garage fries. They have seasonings, a soy glaze, gorganzola cheese and fresh basil on it. Seriously. This is the best burger and fries I have ever eaten! Including the days before I was g free. Best. Burger. Ever. If you haven't been here yet, you need to go.

Support the local economy, local farms and healthy eating. Win, win.

I can't wait to go back. Oh, did I mention that they have amazing desserts? Cakes, cookies and truffles.

A sweet treat that is safe

I like ice cream and gelato. I'm not one of those hardcore ice cream lovers, but as the weather gets warmer, I like a frozen treat here and there.

May I introduce you to....Talenti

It's a delicious gelato that Raleys sells. I know target sells it also. It comes in all sorts of flavors. This one is salted caramel. Oh my gosh it's so tasty!

And...

It's gluten free!!! At least this flavor is. I don't believe that all of the flavors a g free, but this one certainly is!

Enjoy!
